Virginia Horse Center

Designed by horsemen for horsemen, the Virginia Horse Center's physical facilities include the Anderson Coliseum with permanent seating for approximately 4,500 people, box seating for groups, arena space measuring 150 by 300 feet, gift shop, concession stands, and offices; the outdoor Wiley Arena with a covered grandstand seating 1,000; the 36,000 square foot covered Moore Arena; Fletcher, Tardy and Wheeler Arenas; three dressage rings; a beautiful cross-country course; four barns with stabling for 577 horses; two winterized barns with stabling for 180 horses and indoor arenas; and five miles of horse trails.

Supporting facilities include a glass enclosed nerve center/show office, a food pavilion, the Appomattox Mezzanine for special banquets and events during shows, the American Work Horse Museum, the Sergeant Edward Henson Museum, and a recreational vehicle park.
